Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed a four-point approach to building a new security architecture in the Middle East during his visit to Egypt. The proposal calls for strengthening internal cooperation, taking an integrated approach to security, supporting development and improving international coordination.
Foreign Minister Wang Yi said the proposal offers a Chinese approach to achieving long-term peace and stability in the region. He also said China remains committed to promoting peace and dialogue in resolving international conflicts. During the SCO Summit in Bishkek, Xi also met with several world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, to discuss global governance, peace and international cooperation. Credit : CGTN
