Chinese President Xi Jinping addressed the World Youth Conference for Peace, highlighting the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the global fight against fascism. He emphasized that peace was hard-won and should be cherished.
Xi called on young people worldwide to use the conference as a platform to exchange ideas, build mutual understanding, and form friendships. He encouraged youth to advocate for peace and contribute to global development, stressing their role in shaping a shared future for humanity.
The conference was held in Beijing and co-organized by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the All-China Youth Federation.
