Both leaders emphasized the importance of strategic coordination in multilateral frameworks like the UN and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, aiming to uphold international fairness and justice. Putin reiterated Russia’s commitment to deepening ties with China and commemorating their shared history in World War II, as well as enhancing BRICS cooperation.
