Chinese President Xi Jinping and Swiss President Karin Keller-Sutter exchanged congratulations Sunday on the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Switzerland. Xi praised the longstanding friendship and cooperation between countries with different social systems, highlighting achievements in bilateral and multilateral areas, and expressed readiness to deepen business, financial, and people-to-people exchanges. Keller-Sutter emphasized the solid partnership built on mutual respect, citing the 2014 free trade agreement and the 2016 innovative strategic partnership as milestones, and expressed Switzerland’s willingness to further strengthen long-term cooperation and friendship with China.
