Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized the strong bond between China and Africa, highlighting the need for increased solidarity and cooperation amid global challenges. In a letter to scholars from 50 African countries, Xi encouraged ongoing intellectual support for building a high-level China-Africa community and protecting the interests of the Global South. He also mentioned China’s commitment to peaceful development and reform, which he believes will contribute to global peace and modernization, particularly benefiting the Global South. The upcoming Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit aims to further strengthen China-Africa relations and cooperation.
