Xi Jinping proposes four principles to resolve Ukraine crisis

Chinese President Xi Jinping, in a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, proposed four principles to prevent the Ukraine crisis from escalating and to facilitate an early restoration of peace. Firstly, he emphasized the importance of prioritizing peace and stability over individual interests. Secondly, he urged all parties to de-escalate the situation rather than exacerbating it. Thirdly, he called for efforts to create conditions conducive to peace restoration and to avoid further tensions. Lastly, he stressed the need to minimize the negative impact on the global economy and avoid disrupting industrial and supply chains.
