Chinese President Xi Jinping met with U.S. President Donald Trump in Busan, South Korea, ahead of the APEC summit in Gyeongju. Xi said China and the U.S. are fully capable of helping each other succeed and prosper together.
He emphasized that China’s development aligns with Trump’s “Make America Great Again” vision and said the two nations should be “partners and friends.” Xi expressed his readiness to keep working with Trump to strengthen China-U.S. relations and create a positive environment for both countries’ growth.
