He also highlighted the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), emphasizing its goal of achieving mutual development among different countries. President Xi noted the progress made in scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation over the past decade. He expressed hope that China-Cuba cooperation, particularly in science and technology, would continue to deepen for the benefit of both nations. Valdes-Sosa affirmed his team’s achievements in brain-science research and expressed his commitment to further enhancing China-Cuba friendship and supporting the global implementation of the BRI.
