Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Beijing on Wednesday. Xi congratulated Lukashenko on his reelection and emphasized the strong friendship and trust between the two nations. He highlighted their deep political ties and growing cooperation, expressing China’s commitment to developing long-term strategic relations with Belarus. Xi also called for greater coordination in international organizations and joint opposition to hegemony and unfair practices.
Lukashenko, on his 15th visit to China, expressed gratitude for China’s ongoing support and praised its global stance on multilateralism and justice. He reaffirmed Belarus’s trust in China and readiness to deepen cooperation.
