Chinese President Xi Jinping has congratulated the Central Institute of Socialism on its 70th founding anniversary, praising its contributions to training non-Communist Party representatives and strengthening the patriotic united front. In his letter, Xi called on the institute to improve political training, teaching, research and governance, while playing a greater role in talent development and policy promotion.
The congratulatory letter was read at an anniversary gathering in Beijing on Tuesday, where Wang Huning, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, also called for stronger political education and improved training. Established on October 15, 1956, the institute supports multiparty cooperation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
