Wang called for universal security, stressing that no country’s security should come at the expense of others. He also underscored the importance of multilateralism, highlighting the UN’s role in addressing global challenges. On Ukraine, he noted a growing opportunity for peace and reiterated China’s support for a political resolution. Regarding Gaza, he emphasized the need for a ceasefire and a two-state solution. Wang also highlighted Africa’s growing role in the G20, urging support for African-led solutions and opposing external interference in the continent’s affairs.
