Wang highlighted China’s position on key issues, saying it helped improve U.S. understanding and laid the groundwork for future diplomatic exchanges.
He summarized the discussion with four key goals: strengthening contact, avoiding misjudgment, managing differences, and expanding cooperation. Wang stressed that China and the U.S. have broad common interests and a shared responsibility to find a peaceful way to coexist in the new era, which would benefit both nations and the world.
