U.S. reportedly claims drone attack in Baghdad

The U.S. military conducted a strike in Baghdad, targeting an Iraqi militia leader believed to be responsible for attacks against U.S. forces. According to an anonymous U.S. official, the strike hit a vehicle and resulted in the death of the militia leader and another person. The leader belonged to Harakat al Nujaba, but their name was not disclosed. Iraq condemned the U.S. drone attack, describing it as a blatant violation of sovereignty and security, and stated that four individuals, including Talib al-Saiedi, leader of the 12th brigade affiliated with Harakat al Nujaba, were killed.
