A Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that US President Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to a record low of 36% during his second term, largely due to rising fuel prices and criticism over the ongoing war with Iran. Public approval of his handling of the cost of living and the economy has also dropped significantly, reaching some of the lowest levels recorded across his presidencies. As the conflict with Iran continues, Trump is facing increasing pressure to end the war, including criticism from key political allies and prominent figures within his own MAGA support base.
