U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has selected Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead a new “Department of Government Efficiency” aimed at reducing bureaucracy and federal spending. Trump also named Fox News host Pete Hegseth as defense secretary and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem as Homeland Security secretary to implement his border policies. Tom Homan will serve as “border czar.” These appointments reflect Trump’s focus on cutting regulations and enforcing strict immigration measures.
