Donald Trump said Wednesday night that the United States has achieved “swift, decisive, overwhelming victories” in its war with Iran, declaring that “America is winning.”
In a national address, he pointed to the reported destruction of Iran’s naval and air capabilities, as well as leadership-targeted operations, and said US military objectives could be completed soon.
At the same time, Trump warned of further escalation, threatening to strike Iran “extremely hard” in the coming weeks, including potential attacks on power infrastructure if no agreement is reached, even as discussions continue.
