The 8th China Science Fiction Conference, themed “Scientific Dreams Create the Future,” will take place in Shougang Park, Beijing, from April 27 to 29. It will feature activities such as forums, industry promotion, and a science fiction film week. The conference will unveil the “2024 China Science Fiction Industry Report” and launch the China Science Fiction Industry Development Initiative. More than 10 themed forums will be held on topics including literature, film, artificial intelligence, and science education. Industry promotion activities will showcase breakthrough technologies, products, and scenarios, with a focus on Beijing’s science fiction industry. Concurrently, the 4th Beijing Science Fiction Carnival will run from April 27 to May 5, offering adventurous experiences, e-competitions, and electronic music festivals to promote global science fiction culture.
