Following a devastating magnitude-7.9 earthquake in central Myanmar on Friday at 12:50 p.m., China swiftly launched rescue operations, mobilizing teams with emergency aid and expertise.
Several countries, including the United Nations, Malaysia, Singapore, India, and New Zealand, also provided assistance.
As the 72-hour golden window for rescues ended on Monday, Chinese teams successfully saved survivors trapped for over 60 hours. Rescue efforts are still ongoing.
