Recovering from a sixth back surgery, Woods admitted he’s not ready to compete at the tournament level. His focus remains on PGA Tour business, including ongoing talks with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) about a minority stake in PGA Tour Enterprises. While negotiations are progressing, they require U.S. Justice Department approval.
Woods also addressed potential collaboration between the European Tour and LIV Golf, expressing hope for a resolution that benefits fans and players. He called 2024 a “lost year” due to his back issues but did not confirm if he would play in the upcoming PNC Championship with his son.
