The Fun Run for the promotion of 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games will be held in Yangon on March 10

A press conference was held to talk about the Fun Run of 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games at National Indoor Stadium (1) jointly organized by Ministry of Health and Sports of Myanmar and Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee.
The Fun Run aims to promote and welcome the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, and to introduce the Asian Games to the Myanmar People.
Myanmar will host the Fun Run of 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games to look forward to better developments and collaboration with China, in sports sector.
Director General of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs stated that he is grateful for the assistance in developing programs and initiatives that can help promote Sports in Myanmar. He also added that he is willing to work with China to figure out opportunities for collaboration to further advance the sport sector in Myanmar.
The Fun Run will start at 8:00am local time on Friday at the Institute of Sports and Physical Education, Tamwe Township, Yangon. The winners will be presented memorable gifts and thousands of students from universities in Yangon are expected to join this event.
The games were originally scheduled to take place from 10th to 25th September 2022, but the event was postponed due to the Covid-19 global pandemic. The new dates were announced to be from September 23rd to October 8th, 2023. Forty-four venues will be used for the main event which will be held in Hangzhou and its district, China.
