The First HSK Test Organized by Lehua International Education Held at Pinglong Hall, University of Yangon

On June 22, 2025, the first HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) organized by Lehua International Education was successfully conducted at Pinglong Hall, University of Yangon. The examination covered HSK Levels 1 through 6, with approximately 200 candidates participating. The test assessed listening and speaking skills. Among the examinees, 16 candidates sat for Level 6, the highest level of the exam.

While the examinations were in progress, a closed-door meeting was held separately with key officials and representatives. Distinguished attendees included Dr. Tin Maung Tun, Rector of the University of Yangon; Mr. Li Qian Guo, Chinese Cultural Counsellor; and representatives from both the University of Yangon and Lehua International Education, including Dr. Thida Aye, Dr. Khin Chit Chit, Dr. Thuzar Myint, and Ms. Yin Yin Win, HSK Exam Representative.

The meeting focused on promoting China–Myanmar educational and cultural cooperation, with discussions centered around expanding Chinese language programs, initiating student exchange opportunities, and organizing cultural immersion trips for interested students. The HSK test was recognized as a valuable certification for a diverse group of examinees, including university students, professionals, and individuals preparing for overseas studies.

This examination marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral academic collaboration and enhance access to standardized Chinese language education in Myanmar.
