Tanzania and Egypt have agreed to strengthen economic cooperation following talks between Presidents Samia Suluhu Hassan and Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Dar es Salaam.
The two countries plan to expand collaboration in agriculture, livestock, healthcare, education, transport, trade and investment. They also agreed to improve ports, railways, roads and shipping, with Tanzania aiming to develop the Port of Dar es Salaam into a major regional trade hub.
