Iga Swiatek and Jannik Sinner both claimed their first Wimbledon singles titles last week and celebrated with a dance at the inaugural Champions Dinner on Monday.
Swiatek dominated the women’s final, defeating Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 — the first time in 114 years a Wimbledon final ended with one player not winning a single game. This marks her sixth Grand Slam title, keeping her perfect record in major finals.
Sinner triumphed in the men’s final after a hard-fought match, beating defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in four sets. It was a redemption win for Sinner after losing to Alcaraz in the French Open final and breaking a five-match losing streak against him. He called the victory the most special moment of his career.
