Kim Gil-li, Choi Min-jeong, Park Ji-won, and Kim Tae-sung secured victory with a time of 2:41.534. Kazakhstan took silver, and Japan claimed bronze. China, the favorites, missed the podium after Lin Xiaojun crashed in the final laps, finishing fourth.
