A small Learjet 55 crashed in northeast Philadelphia on Friday, sparking a large fire in a residential area near Roosevelt Mall. The FAA initially reported two people on board but later updated the number to six. Several people on the ground were also injured. The plane had just taken off for Springfield, Missouri, when it went down, setting homes and cars on fire. Emergency crews responded, and the NTSB will lead the investigation. This crash follows a deadly mid-air collision in Washington, D.C., earlier this week that killed 67 people.
