Six dead in two Mississippi shootings overnight

At least six people were killed and multiple others injured in two separate high school homecoming-related shootings in Mississippi over the weekend. On Friday night, two people were killed at a high school in Heidelberg, where the suspect is still at large. Separately, in Leland, a town of about 4,000, at least four people were killed and 12 others injured in a shooting early Saturday morning on a main street where people had gathered after Leland High School’s homecoming game. No suspects are currently in custody for the Leland shooting, and both investigations are ongoing
