Myanmar’s flooding death toll has risen to 74 as of Friday, with 89 people still missing, according to state media. The floods, triggered by heavy rains from Typhoon Yagi, have impacted 462 villages across multiple regions, including Nay Pyi Taw, Bago, Mandalay, Ayeyawady, and several states. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing, but damaged infrastructure and communication lines have made it difficult to gather information. The floods, which began last Monday, have also destroyed five dams, four pagodas, and over 65,000 houses.
