The second World Conference of Classics will be held in Athens from June 9 to 10 under the theme “Dialogue between Ancient and Modern: Contemporary Inspirations from Classical Wisdom.”
The conference will bring together leading scholars and experts in classical studies, culture, archaeology and civilization research to discuss how ancient wisdom can help address modern global challenges.
The event is jointly organized by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China’s ministries of Education and Culture and Tourism, the Greek Ministry of Culture, and the Academy of Athens.
Alongside plenary sessions, the conference will feature four parallel forums aimed at promoting dialogue, cultural exchange and mutual learning among civilizations.
