South Korea’s former president Yoon Suk-yeol’s legal team filed an appeal on Tuesday against the first-instance verdict on his insurrection charges, Yonhap News Agency reported.
Yoon was sentenced to life in prison on charges of insurrection, live footage showed last Thursday.
