Russia carried out its largest overnight air attack in the Ukraine conflict, hitting Kyiv and setting the main government building on fire, according to Ukrainian officials.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported damage to the building’s roof and upper floors, with rescuers working to extinguish the fire. At least two people were killed and 18 wounded, and a nine-story apartment building in the Sviatoshynskyi district was partially destroyed.
Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia used 818 air assault vehicles in the strikes, including 805 drones and 13 missiles.
