Russia says Moscow terror attack suspects planned to flee to Kyiv for reward

The Russian Investigative Committee announced that evidence suggests the terrorists involved in the Moscow concert hall attack had plans to cross into Ukraine to receive a promised reward. According to the committee, the terrorists were instructed to head towards the Russian-Ukrainian border after the attack to reach Kyiv for their reward. They were allegedly coordinated by an individual using a pseudonym through audio messages on Telegram. Additionally, a ninth suspect linked to the attack was detained. Russia claims that 144 people died in the attack, including GRU Colonel Timur Myasnikov. Russian authorities are investigating possible involvement of Ukrainian special services in organizing and financing the attack. Director of Russia’s Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov accused the U.S., the UK, and Ukraine of orchestrating the attack, though these countries have denied the allegations.
