The ministry did not provide further details on the mission. The Soyuz rocket is frequently used for various space missions, including transporting astronauts and equipment to the International Space Station. While scientific and exploratory Soyuz launches are typically announced by Russia’s Roscosmos space agency, this military-focused launch was reported separately.
