Cristiano Ronaldo led Al-Nassr, a soccer team, to their first Arab Club Champions Cup victory by defeating Saudi rivals Al-Hilal 2-1 in extra time. Ronaldo scored both goals for Al-Nassr in the match. In the previous season, Ronaldo hadn’t secured any titles for Al-Nassr, but this time he emerged as the tournament’s top scorer with six goals, contributing significantly to their success.
The tournament featured top soccer teams from various Arab nations including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. Although Al-Nassr had promising opportunities to score in the first half, Al-Hilal’s goalkeeper thwarted their attempts.
Notably, Al-Hilal’s player Michael mimicked Ronaldo’s goal celebration, which spurred Ronaldo to equalize the score with a goal. The game witnessed a red card for one of Al-Nassr’s defenders and another player for arguing with an official.
