South Korea, the U.S., and Japan conducted joint air drills on Sunday over waters east of South Korea’s Jeju Island, featuring a U.S. B-1B bomber and fighter jets from all three countries. This is the fourth time this year a U.S. strategic bomber has flown to the Korean Peninsula. The drills, which included simulated target strikes, were held in response to North Korea’s recent ICBM launch on October 31.
