Road access to the core area of Gyirong Port in southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region was restored on Wednesday, allowing rescue teams to transition from foot and drone operations to a more efficient, coordinated search strategy utilizing heavy engineering machinery, life-detection equipment, and professional teams.
