Ragdi, former Vice Chairman of China’s 10th National People’s Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, was cremated in Beijing on June 13 after passing away from illness at the age of 87.
Top Chinese leaders including Xi Jinping, Li Qiang, and Zhao Leji paid their respects at Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery, offering silent tribute and condolences to his family.
Ragdi was praised as a loyal Party member, a dedicated leader in ethnic and legal affairs, and an outstanding representative of the Tibetan people. Leaders including Hu Jintao and Han Zheng also paid tribute during or after his hospitalization.
