Vladimir Putin said Western countries are losing their dominant global position as new centers of growth, particularly nations in the Global South, continue to rise.
In a video message at the second Open Dialogue International Forum in Moscow, Putin said the world is moving toward a more multipolar international system, where countries that value national sovereignty are playing a bigger role in global affairs.
He added that global challenges require stronger international cooperation, and argued that a fair and stable development model should be built on equality, mutual respect, and consideration of all countries’ interests.
