Video footage released by the Kremlin showed that, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with visiting top leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia’s Far East on Wednesday.
“I am glad to see you,” Putin said as he shook Kim’s hand for around 40 seconds. “This is our new cosmodrome.”
Via a translator, Kim thanked Putin for the invitation and for the warmth of his reception.
Russian news agencies reported, the two will hold talks on “trade ties” and “international affairs” at the spaceport, where Kim arrived by train.
