The reports highlight Asia’s continued role as a major driver of global growth, with its economy expected to expand by 4.5% in 2026 and its share of global GDP rising further. Regional trade integration is strengthening, with China and ASEAN identified as key stabilizing forces. The reports also emphasize the growing importance of the digital economy and artificial intelligence as drivers of development, noting that Asia’s digital economy has reached a significant scale. The conference, themed around shared future and cooperation, is expected to draw around 2,000 participants from over 60 countries.
