On Tuesday, a spokesperson from the China Atomic Energy Authority announced that Zhang Guoqing, Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Special Representative and a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, as well as Chinese Vice Premier, is set to participate in the inaugural nuclear energy summit in Brussels, Belgium, scheduled from March 20 to 22.
