Chinese President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing after an 11-day trip, attending the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting, the G20 Summit, and state visits to Peru and Brazil. The Chinese Foreign Ministry described the trip as promoting solidarity, development, and partnerships. Xi participated in nearly 40 events and signed over 60 cooperation agreements.
In Peru, Xi highlighted Chancay Port, South America’s first smart and green port, as a key project enhancing Asia-Latin America connections. In Brazil, Xi and President Lula elevated their countries’ ties, aligning China’s Belt and Road Initiative with Brazil’s development plans.
At the APEC meeting, Xi emphasized multilateralism and inclusive development in the Asia-Pacific region. At the G20 Summit, he proposed making global development more equitable and announced initiatives such as joining the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty.
Xi met with leaders from the U.S., Europe, and other nations, advocating stable international relations, dialogue to resolve differences, and global cooperation. The trip reinforced China’s image as a responsible global leader promoting fairness, openness, and sustainability.
