Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend and deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 10th ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum on May 30 in Beijing. This announcement was made by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying. The meeting, agreed upon by China and the Arab side, will be co-chaired by Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chinese foreign minister, and Mohamed Salem Ould Merzouk, Mauritania’s minister of foreign affairs. The event will also be attended by foreign ministers or representatives from Arab states and the secretary general of the Arab League.
