Chinese President Xi Jinping said Monday that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) serves as a proactive force for global peace and development. Speaking at the 25th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO in Tianjin, Xi highlighted that the organization promotes a vision of global governance based on consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefit, embodying true multilateralism. He emphasized that the SCO upholds international fairness and justice, encourages inclusiveness and mutual learning among civilizations, and opposes hegemonism and power politics.
