Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Beijing, emphasizing the goal of building a China-Egypt community with a shared future. Sisi’s visit, which includes attending the 10th ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, coincides with the 10th anniversary of the China-Egypt comprehensive strategic partnership. Xi highlighted the historic relationship and mutual support between the two nations, calling for deeper cooperation in traditional and emerging areas such as infrastructure, health care, and renewable energy.
Xi also stressed the importance of people-to-people exchanges and economic investments, inviting more Chinese enterprises to Egypt. Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s support for China’s core interests and expressed a desire to enhance cooperation in technology, new energy, and other fields.
