According to preliminary results, ruling party candidate Claudia Sheinbaum is on course to win Mexico’s presidential election.
According to the results, the 61-year-old former Mexico City mayor clinched around 58 percent of votes. Nearly 100 million people were registered to vote in the country of 129 million.
