Paris Olympics: Stadium set for switch; France seeks help from allies to bolster security

After Racing 92’s last game at the Paris La Defense Arena, they will switch to playing their home games in Auxerre’s football stadium, as Champions Cup games and the Top 14 schedule conflict with their home matches until May 11. This move is prompted by the upcoming concerts of American pop star Taylor Swift at the arena. The Paris La Defense Arena, which has hosted renowned artists like the Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen, is scheduled to be converted into a swimming pool for the Paris Olympic Games. In preparation for the Olympics, France has requested security assistance from its foreign allies, with plans to deploy several thousand members of their security forces to guard the event.
