China officially delivered its custom-made, AI-driven meteorological early warning platform, MAZU-Nepal, to Nepal during the Second China-Central Asia Meteorological Cooperation Forum on Tuesday. Combining artificial intelligence with physical forecasting models, the intelligent system is designed to enhance disaster prevention. Following a devastating mudslide last month, China has been supporting Nepal with advanced weather monitoring, forecasting, and trial access to the MAZU system.
