French President Emmanuel Macron thanked China for the warm hospitality during his three-day state visit, posting messages in Chinese and English along with a video recap of ceremonies, meetings and exchanges with students and residents.
He described the trip as “inspiring,” highlighting his visit to Sichuan’s Dujiangyan irrigation system, which he praised as a two-millennia marvel reflecting harmony between human innovation and nature. Macron concluded his fourth state visit to China on Friday after stops in Beijing and Chengdu.
