Despite training in a tricolor mask, he must comply with the rules for official matches.
France coach Didier Deschamps is hopeful Mbappe can play against the Netherlands on Friday, but there is a possibility he may remain on the bench until France’s final group game against Poland on June 25. Both France and the Netherlands won their first matches in Group D, making Friday’s game crucial for advancing to the knockout stage.
