Israeli air strikes and gunfire in the Gaza Strip on Monday resulted in the deaths of two young children and at least two other Palestinians, according to local health officials and medics. Incidents included a 10-year-old girl hit in Khan Younis, separate strikes in the Bureij refugee camp and Deir Al-Balah, and military strikes on two mosques in Shati and Deir Al-Balah that the Israeli military alleged were used by Hamas to store weapons. Additionally, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that three UN warehouses in Deir al-Balah were damaged by an adjacent strike, while separate clashes and raids in the West Bank and East Jerusalem also claimed civilian lives.
